در یک نشست کوتاه کنار پدر یا مادر می‌نشینید، سؤال را می‌خوانید و با همان گوشی ضبط می‌کنید؛ هر پاسخ فقط ۵ تا ۱۵ دقیقه.
صداها پیاده و با حفظ لحن خودشان پاک‌نویس می‌شود، به انگلیسی ترجمه می‌شود، عکس‌های خانواده کنارش می‌نشیند و صفحه‌آرایی می‌شود. پیش از چاپ، نسخه‌ی کامل را می‌بینید و تأیید می‌کنید.
کتاب جلدسخت چاپ‌شده + نسخه‌ی صوتی خصوصی خانواده؛ کنار هر فصل یک کد است که با گوشی، صدای خود راوی را پخش می‌کند.

Payment is split: half to start, half only after you have seen and approved the complete book for print. Extra hardcover copies $59, paperback $39. Prices in CAD, before tax.
The storyteller owns their story. Even though an adult child pays, nothing is printed, removed or shared without the storyteller's written consent. Raw recordings are never made public, the book is printed only for the family and is never offered for public sale, and the storyteller may skip any question, delete any part, or stop at any time. Before recording begins, a short, plain agreement sets out who can access the audio and text, which topics are off-limits, and how long files are kept.
